KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Order and evaluate diagnostic studies, such as x-rays or laboratory tests.

Establish a medical diagnosis for patients within the PA’s care.

Perform and monitor therapeutic procedures outlined by the physician per physician-agreed standards.

Maintains appropriate licensure and certification including meeting and/or exceeding CME requirements.

Provides patient education as needed.

Board Certification in Specialty preferred.

Experience in public health preferred.

Previous medical office experience preferred.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment, including computers, copiers, and other standard office equipment.
