This includes diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, prescribing medications, and providing preventive care. The Family Medicine Opening position is also responsible for providing patient education and counseling, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and providing referrals to specialists when necessary.
