This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance duties. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems and equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics, and must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and must be able to work in a variety of environments.
