To become an Facilities Electrical Technician, you will need to complete an apprenticeship program or obtain a certificate or degree in electrical technology. Apprenticeships typically last four to five years and involve both classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Certificate and degree programs typically last two to four years and involve both classroom instruction and hands-on training.
