Fabrication Specialist Jobs in Washington

Knowledge of welding fabricating tolerances and requirements for electric production equipment and other critical infrastructure systems.

Completion of a recognized welding apprenticeship program and 1+ year(s) experience as a journey-level fabrication welder OR

First aid card with CPR, flagging and forklift certification by the end of probation, and maintenance thereafter

Demonstrable experience welding copper and aluminum electrical bus work, stainless steel, cast iron and carbon steel parts.

Knowledge of Blacksmithing and Flame Straightening and forming and wrinkle bending.

Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.

Bonus points if you are familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or other ERP/Warehouse Management Software.

At least 1 year of experience with project planning or scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with computers in general.

Work closely with leads and operators to coordinate daily workflow for Fabrication and Paint teams.

Print and distribute daily manufacturing orders (MO’s).
