Event Operations Planner Jobs in New York

3 – 5 years corporate event planning/management experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferred experience in Salesforce

Direct project management of the company’s highest profile meetings and events

Complete financial management on behalf of the program stakeholders from budget creation to final reconciliation

Demonstrated innovation in conference management and implementation

Management and balancing of multi-million-dollar operations budgets in conjunction with the business manager in support of led events

Management of key vendors contracted to support event operations at League events

Planning schedule design, implementation and management

Proven accomplishments in organization and management of people and processes

Understanding of labor management both union and non-union

Lead one of the two event operations teams that manage and coordinate all operational functions at NFL tentpole events.

Management and balancing of multi-million-dollar operations budgets in conjunction with the business manager in support of led events

Management of key vendors contracted to support event operations at League events

Planning schedule design, implementation and management

Proven accomplishments in organization and management of people and processes

Understanding of labor management both union and non-union

Experience in Planning, Organizing, and Executing.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as time-management skills

·Work closely with hotels and vendors (overall supplier-partner management)

·Work with accounting and management to ensure proper tracking and follow-up for invoicing

·Perform other tasks/duties as management deems appropriate to meet business needs

·Available as back-up contact for clients if management team members are absent

·Ability to maintain effective and respected work relationships with other employees and management
