Knowledge of district policies and procedures, student management and discipline

Evidence of highly effective student management

Works effectively with special education case managers as needed specific to discipline of a special needs student

Collaborates with administrative team to execute student management plan including procedures for conflict management, restitution, suspension, dismissal, and re-entry of students

Bachelor’s degree in education, mental health, child development or other related fields

Desire to continue developing leadership skills

Identify and maintain check-in/check-out system for students-at-risk and process referrals.

Monitor specific student behavior plans and provide support by monitoring progress, providing student support and connecting with families.

Connect with families of students who have high truancy due to tardies or unexcused absences.

Provide student supervision as needed (e.g., recess, field trip, mornings).

Other duties as assigned or apparent.

Assist teams with determining strategic interventions for Tier I and Tier II services.
