The associate’s primary responsibilities will include:

Climate and Energy Transition-Related Thematic Areas: clean energy, enabling solutions, decarbonized transport, greening industrials, and agriculture and natural solutions

Intellectual curiosity and ability to analyze companies in multiple industries/sectors, in both the environmental and social/medical spheres

Reactor Fuels, Materials and Nuclear Analysis

Transient, Accident and Consequence Analysis

Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Seismic, Electrical, Chemical, Digital I&C, Geotechnical)

Modular and Component Manufacture; Facility Construction

Fire Protection, Chemistry, Materials Sciences, Materials Testing and Inspection

Environmental Sciences (Seismology, Hydrology, Ecology, Geology, Land Use) and Environmental Assessments

2+ years' management experience must include multi-country project management and successful oversight of project teams with complex delivery objectives.

A proven record of excellent management, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organization, schedule, and budget management skills.

Bachelor's degree in any of the following (natural resources management, environmental studies, environmental planning, environmental engineering, environmental management, international development).

Demonstrated ability to manage a highly skilled, interdisciplinary team and to interact with USAID operating units in DC and aboard.

Manage multiple project schedules with competing deadlines and budget constraints.
