Strong organizational and analytical skills

6+ years of related experience in biological/environmental projects and tasks

Requires knowledge of general ecology, botany, and zoology

Good working knowledge of federal environmental laws and regulations and NEPA/CEQA documentation

Demonstrated experience with bat survey techniques, identification of habitat requirements, and identification of federally listed species

Must possess strong verbal and technical writing skills, and be able to read technical literature and engineering plans

Execution of field surveys and habitat assessments for a variety of species using multiple survey techniques.

Coordinating and leading survey teams.

Coordination and progress updates to clients.

Collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing acoustic data, including but not limited to: noise removal, species identification, and activity index calculation.

Basic knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)

Knowledge on water quality sampling

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):

Sample groundwater public supplies, private wells and springs

Schedule and coordinate the quarterly sampling for the ambient groundwater monitoring program

Assist with reports on groundwater features for watershed plan development
