Entry Level Water Resources Engineer Jobs in Idaho

At least 1 year of progressive experience and knowledge of multiple wastewater treatment equipment, systems, or processes

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:

At least 7 years of professional experience in water resources engineering and related experience

Demonstrated experience with 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, HEC-RAS 2D)

Demonstrated experience with other analysis and design software packages (e.g., Bentley FlowMaster, FHWA’s Hydraulic Toolbox, HY-8, Microstation, InRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcMap)

Experience with both open channel and closed conduit hydraulics

Experience with RiverWare river and reservoir modeling

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field

Experience permitting projects through IDNR-OWR; IEPA; USACOE and knowledge of the various county stormwater ordinances within northern Illinois

Assist project managers with scoping and budgeting for drainage work

Understanding of DOT and Drainage requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
