The Entry Level Cost Accountant is responsible for the following tasks:

• Analyzing and interpreting financial data to identify trends and variances

• Preparing and analyzing cost reports

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems

• Assisting in the development of cost control systems

• Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports

• Assisting in the preparation of audit reports

• Assisting in the development of internal control systems
