Must be able to translate English and Korean

Professional experience in consecutive interpretation

Professional experience in simultaneous interpretation

Professional experience in whispering and equipment assisted simultaneous interpretation

Ability to maintain confidentiality and to manage sensitive documents

Basic computer skills; namely in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

College degree or equivalent experience

CNA certification or past CNA experience preferred but not required

A working knowledge of medical terminology

Other medical certifications such as nursing, medical assisting, etc.

Requires 8 hours a week (six week intervals) interpreter services in a classroom setting.

Ensure that questions or concerns from students are brought to the instructor’s attention.

Ensure that the students requiring interpreter services are on track with classmates in the lecture flow.
