They must be knowledgeable in engineering principles and practices, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must be able to inspect and evaluate the work of contractors and other engineering personnel. They must be able to prepare reports and other documents related to their inspections and evaluations. Job Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Professional certification in engineering inspection
