They must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other medical personnel. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to assess and treat a variety of medical conditions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• Certification in Paramedic
