Detailed Job Description Emergency Medicine Physician Associates are responsible for providing medical care to patients in emergency situations. This includes assessing and diagnosing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing treatment. EMPA’s also provide patient education and counseling, and may be involved in research projects. EMPA’s must be able to work independently and make decisions quickly in order to provide the best possible care to patients. Job Skills Required
