Detailed Job Description Emergency Department Technicians are responsible for providing support to the ED staff in the delivery of emergency medical care. They assist in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients in the ED. EDTs may also be responsible for stocking supplies, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and providing patient transport. They may also be responsible for providing patient education and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Job Skills Required
