Emc Validation Engineer Jobs

Frequently works with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.

1-2 years of minimum experience required.

Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work.

Assists with installing transformers, lightening arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.

Assists in replacing fuses in transformers and clears faulted circuits and systems.

Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.

Experience in project planning and management; ability to apply problem-solving skills

5+ years of related experience within a design engineering environment, preferably with automotive thermal management products, especially compressors

Experience in interpreting customer electrical hardware and software specifications

Experience in quality disciplines such as DFMEA, SCIFS, etc

Practical experience with Altium or other electronics CAD tools

EMC evaluation of PCM designs

Requirement-Test Case management tools (Polarion preferred)

Experience with testing electronic, automotive, aerospace, or vehicle components

Experience in using lab equipment (Environmental Chambers, Oscilloscopes, E-loads, VNA, TDR, and spectrum analyzer)

Experience with Ubuntu and Python

Systems and networking foundational knowledge (systems architecture, memory hierarchy, storage subsystems, LANs, routing)

Setup peripheral equipment including power supplies, coolant pumps, network traffic generators and transceivers

Responsible to perform other tasks as business needs require or as assigned by management.

3 years relevant engineering experience.

Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.

Prior experience working with a team of technicians

Prior work experience with audio components: speakers, amplifiers, head-units, etc. and how they are designed, operate, and interact with each other

Experience in computer languages: C/C++, LabView/LabWindows, etc.
