Implement the school-wide and classroom management policies and practices

Pass all required background check requirements under the School Safety Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018

Commitment to working with students from communities with limited access to quality educational opportunities (Required)

At least one year of teaching experience in a public school (Strongly Preferred)

Experience/strength in content area (Preferred)

You have, ideally, certification to teach in D.C.

Salary: $63,000 - $78,678 (commensurate with 1-10 years of experience)

Lead literacy instruction for students, from planning to executing engaging and rigorous lessons

Provide emotional constancy and support for your students -- and your colleagues.

Work with your team to analyze a range of summative and formative assessment data to thoughtfully adjust and differentiate instruction.
