Electronics Test Technician Jobs in Alabama

Confers with engineering personnel to resolve functional failures. Readily applies newly obtained knowledge to identify root cause.

4 years of related work experience desired. Medical device experience preferred.

Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement concepts required.

Perform in-process and final inspections of electromechanical systems.

Assist engineers in developing or improving production processes as problems are identified.

Read/interpret test procedures, detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, bill of materials and engineering change orders.

Candidate will have to demonstrate experience in designing and building hardware to meet challenging technical requirements.

Candidate must have achieved J-STD-001 soldering certification within the last 5 years and must have experience soldering under a microscope.

This position will require at least a high school diploma and 3 years’ experience in electrical/electronics assembly or test.

Basic experience reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation will be required.

Candidates must also have experience in troubleshooting of complex devices or systems using standard test equipment.
