Overview An Electronic Systems Technician 2 is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment. They must have a thorough understanding of the principles of electronics, electrical systems, and computer systems. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic systems and equipment. Detailed Job Description

The Electronic Systems Technician 2 is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing electronic systems and equipment.
• Testing and calibrating electronic systems and equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing electronic systems and equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance on electronic systems and equipment.
• Documenting and recording all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of electronic systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and computer systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in electronics or related field preferred.
• Certification in electronics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment.
