Experience of working on capital projects: project management, engineering, installation and commissioning
5 years of Electrical Engineering or Automation systems experience in process control systems and controls theory / fundamentals.
5 years of experience in application of process control and automation in industrial processes.
Experience specifying and/or programming / applying PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA systems and drives;
10 years’ experience in aluminum or steel industry, or similar with experience of working on rolling processes in an engineering position
Optimization of process equipment for improving quality and capacity, and deployment and enhancement of process control systems;

Detailed Job Description Electrical and Control Systems Designers are responsible for designing and developing electrical and control systems for a variety of applications. This includes designing and developing electrical and control systems for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. They must have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to apply them to the design and development of electrical and control systems. They must also be able to troubleshoot and repair existing electrical and control systems. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and their application to the design and development of electrical and control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair existing electrical and control systems
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical and control systems design
• Professional certification in electrical engineering is preferred
