Expertise in development and assessment of university teacher education curriculum requirements and alternative certification requirements
Master’s degree in education or a related field and four years of related experience
Knowledge of state and national teacher assessment content standards as measured by Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators™ (GACE™)
Ability to understand complex systems through knowledge, insight, and systematic analysis
Completion of a Doctoral Degree in Education (PhD or EdD) in a field of study related to educator preparation
Teaching experience, both in a P-12 and teacher preparation setting

Detailed Job Description Education Program Specialists are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing educational programs and activities.
