Education/Training Spec I - Early Steps

$19 to $24.19 per hour depending on education and experience
Develops, prepares and distributes education materials to community agencies, physician practices, and at other events.
Works with local education agencies to ensure Interagency Agreements are being maintained and followed. Maintain interagency database.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education.
Two to four years of Early Intervention experience with children birth to five with special needs.

The Early Education Director is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing staff, and ensuring the program is meeting the needs of the children and families it serves. The Early Education Director is also responsible for ensuring the program is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of state and local regulations and standards
• Ability to manage staff and budgets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood education
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Valid state teaching license
