Early Childhood Lead Teacher Jobs in Iowa

Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards

Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience. (Prefer but will train the right person)

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. (Can assist with getting)

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.

Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.

The ability and willingness to construct hands-on education materials to be utilized in the teaching of identified curriculum skills and concepts.

Bachelor’s degree minimum (some graduate work preferred) in Elementary or Early Childhood Education.

Must have a current Arkansas Teacher’s license for Elementary Education P-4 or Early Childhood Education (must include Preschool).

Knowledge of and interest in learning instructional practices for young children with sensitivity to individual needs and cultural differences.

Adheres to all laws, regulations, and requirements of DHS and Arkansas Better Chance (ABC).
