1+ years of experience working in embedded C/C++ and/or assembly. (internship and extracurricular experience is applicable)

Interest, formal studies, and/or experience dealing with the refrigeration cycle, air conditioning systems, and/or heat pumps

Air conditioning and/or heat pumps design and hands on testing experience.

Assist with an engineering program using the New Product Development System as guide to achieve the goals of the project.

Help grow Figma by interviewing candidates for teams across the Engineering organization

Fluency with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Javascript, Ruby, Python, C++, Objective-C, or Java

Applies academic knowledge to job responsibilities under close supervision of a more experienced technical profession

Assist in the development of engineering deliverables including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations under supervision of an experienced technical professional.

The successful candidate will have 0 - 3 years of experience

Co-op or Internship experience is preferred

Experience working in the specialty chemicals and.or pulp and paper industries

Assist in the specification and selection of equipment to meet project criteria

Conduct research in various risk-related technologies including probabilistic risk assessment, applied statistics, and other work related to risk management

Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and operations

Experience with battery fire safety assessments

Proven experience developing and utilizing risk tools and methodologies

Experience with alternative fuels such as hydrogen or natural gas
