Assist other maintenance staff with maintenance issues as directed by the Resident Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

Communicate effectively with on-site staff.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with property management, residents, and colleagues.

Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize painting and drywall projects.

Maintain inventory of painting and drywall supplies, equipment, and tools, and report any requirements for replenishment.

Proven experience in drywall repair, installation, and finishing, preferably in a multifamily housing or construction environment.

Sound knowledge of various types of drywall materials, their applications, and installation methods.

Residential remodel experience is required

Experience in multifamily / apartment remodels is preferred

Must be able to communicate with project manager

Must be able to hang, tape, do patchwork and match existing textures

Must have your own tools appropriate to position

Must be able to pass drug test and background check upon hire

Knowledge and ability to use tools, materials, and equipment necessary for completing finish carpentry projects.

Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Layout and install drywall beads.

Prepare all drywall surfaces to receive drywall finish products.

Mix, carry and apply joint compound ready for decoration.

Hand or machine texure walls or ceilings per plans and specifications.

Visits jobsites regularly to discuss progress with foreman and report needs and requirements to Sr. Operations Manager.

8+ years of Construction Leadership experience, preferrably with Drywall / Metal Stud Framing.

Knowledge of general construction products and their installation.

Knowledge of the construction industry and accompanying trades.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other operating systems.

Responsibilities of the position include:

Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive

Must be able to manage stress depending on customer’s deadline

Compliance of company, state and federal guidelines particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel

Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order

Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer
