5+ years of experience within DOT Compliance (Large scale DOT experience – This company has 3,000-5,000+ delivery drivers)

Experience running a DOT Compliance Program for a company before

Auditing Files (Ex: Reviewing Delivery Driver qualification files)

Very familiar with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and DOT requirements

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Customized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Utilize proprietary software to manage customer pipeline and business operations

Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment

Demonstrate solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

Lead DOT compliance processes, including driver qualification, hours of service, vehicle condition reporting, drug testing, road-side stops and incident logs.

Display strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.

Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma with EHS/DOT/OSHA work experience

EHS, Transportation/Fleet or DOT experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing or grocery industry

CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is preferred, but not required

At a minimum, a driver must hold a regular driver’s license for the preceding 3 years.
