Education: BA/BS required. Specialty/Major: Accounting, Finance or related discipline and 3+ years of experience as an Accountant is required.
Must be able to demonstrate active knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in daily execution of accounting functions and tasks.
Maintain complete and accurate fixed asset records for the Cooperative in accordance with generally acceptable accounting standards and company policy.
Support month-end close and account analysis. Responsible for detail account analysis, journal entries, G/L account reconciliations, account roll-forward, and system balancing.
Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable.
Reviews trip expense reports and calculate per diem amounts for accuracy and completeness.
