District Project Coordinator Jobs

Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, finance and/or accounting

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in customer support, scheduling and/or finance

Acknowledge all purchase orders, obtain proper insurance certificates and assure that terms and conditions are presented to customer.

Complete various office administration responsibilities as required.

Organize/obtain necessary materials and proper test equipment based on job requirements.

5 years’ experience in customer support, scheduling or financial experience

Support development of Operational Risk Management (ORM) documentation and plans

Compile, assess and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify coordination requirements, impacts, solutions and recommendations

Serve as FAA/Airspace District point of contact on project implementation and coordination related issues:

Assist with project coordination and communication efforts

Serve as liaison for District with the local airport authorities and FAA Airport District Offices (ADOs)

Participate in high-visibility or key FAA Stakeholder meetings in support of the District

Works closely with management to recognize gaps in the safety program and assists with developing corrective action items.

Provides regular feedback to management about safety observations and recommends changes for improvement.

Assists management where needed for safety program continuous improvement.

2+ years’ experience in an operations role, preferably with safety responsibilities

Conducts job site inspections of assigned region to assess knowledge and/or training gaps.

Proficient skill with Personal Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

· Under supervision, manages the project close-out process.

· Manages hours for each task to ensure the amount allocated in the contract is not exceeded.

· Typically requires 7 years related experience, including 1 year managing other PMs

· Experience with airport facility projects is highly desired

· Coordinates roles, responsibilities, and interdependencies of all team members.

- Facilitate/Coordinate operational andprojectimplementation efforts at theDistrictLevel to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.

- Minimizeprojectimplementation impacts on NAS operations

-Strengthen relationship of all FAA participants and stakeholders within the Airspace Districts

Must have time and project management skills, with ability to troubleshoot

Solid management, written and verbal communication problem-solving skills are required

Form partnerships with religious, civic, educational, and other community organizations

Must possess effective organizational and communication skills

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent

Experience in Scouting or other youth organization is helpful, though not required
