Distribution Journeyman Lineman – Yucca Valley Jobs in Ohio

Have equivalent experience in related work, having all the qualifications of a Helper up to Apprentice 4th Year.

Have a thorough working knowledge of electric transmission and distribution circuits and related equipment including Switchman certification.

Have thorough knowledge of hot line tools and their application.

Accurately identify and record all changes to constructed jobs according to Company requirements.

Apprentice 1st Year: Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience required

Apprentice 2nd Year: 2+ years demonstrated linework experience required

Knowledge and experience with personal computers is required.

Knowledge of the transmission/distribution system.

Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.

Knowledge of the principles of electrical theory as applied to electrical circuits and wiring systems

Skills in the operation of the equipment, tools, and testing equipment.

Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
