They may also be responsible for stocking and organizing supplies, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, and helping with other food service tasks as needed. Detailed Job Description Dishwasher Food Service Workers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in a commercial kitchen. This includes washing dishes by hand or using a dishwasher, scrubbing pots and pans, and cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces. They may also be responsible for stocking and organizing supplies, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, and helping with other food service tasks as needed. Job Skills Required
