Director Of Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Jobs

· Leads implementation and management of Quality software systems

Communicate progress and status of Supply Chain Automation improvement initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders.

Manage and develop (directly and indirectly) a team of Supply Chain Automation improvement professionals, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Automation, and/or warehouse maintenance including experience managing teams and implementing large-scale automation projects.

Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Automation technologies, and design theory.

Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and other relevant manufacturing or supply chain improvement methodologies.

Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy across all automation sites, including audits, enhancements, and life-cycle replacements.

10+ years of operations, consulting, or related experience with 5+ years in a leadership position

Last-mile, marketplace, and/or gig economy experience preferred

You have strong strategic planning, organizational, and execution skills

You have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and customer skills

Develop, communicate, and execute complex cross-functional initiatives aimed at delivering best-in-industry service for Runners, customers, and merchants

Advanced experience in structured problem solving.

Blackbelt, Lean, Six Sigma experience preferred.

Experience in driving projects at the corporate level across multiple functions.

College degree and 5 to 7 years of work experience desired.

Experience with Plastic Extrusion and facility support processes strongly preferred.

Experience in specification, purchase, installation, and release to production of capital equipment and facility support systems strongly preferred.

Strong technical skills and interpersonal communication skills.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years in people management role.

Extensive knowledge and experience in Production Systems, Lean Manufacturing Deployment/Transformation

Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in the manufacturing operations field and/or leadership roles

Six Sigma Black Belt certification, Master Black Belt preferred.

Demonstrated ability to utilize data, strategic thinking skills, intuition, and influence to solve critical and real work problems.
