Time management and prioritization skills

Professional certification in benefits or related HR area

Be the subject matter expert on compliance with benefits processes, reporting, audits, and corresponding government regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, HSA, FSAs, etc.)

Conduct new client compliance assessments, including the identification and tracking of required federal and state compliance responsibilities

Develop and deliver external, client-based education training series and compliance material both independently and in collaboration with First Dollar staff

Develop and communicate compliance requirements for new product and feature launches as well as new partner implementations

Advanced knowledge for managing global health and welfare insurance offerings, retirement programs, leave management and compliance requirements across various countries

Experience with a self-funded medical benefits platform and effective cost-management and planning strategies

Ensuring benefits program compliance with global and local requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience developing and scaling a global benefits function for a high-growth company

Experience leading all aspects of benefits strategy, design, administration, and compliance for a global company

Solid understanding of global benefit and pension laws, processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements
