Overview A Diesel Technician Apprentice is a person who is in the process of learning the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified diesel technician. The apprentice will work under the supervision of a qualified diesel technician, and will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines, as well as learning the principles of diesel engine operation and maintenance. Detailed Job Description The Diesel Technician Apprentice will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines, such as changing oil, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting and replacing belts and hoses. The apprentice will also be responsible for learning the principles of diesel engine operation and maintenance, including troubleshooting and diagnostics. The apprentice will be expected to follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Job Skills Required
