A new seven-story Surgical Tower with 154 all-private rooms and patient centered technology promotes an exceptional patient experience

Cross trains in other specialty areas/departments/facilities when work load demands to enhance skills outside assigned specialty clinical area

Assists with training of new technologists and technical assistants in all phases of assigned procedures, as requested by supervisor/manager/director

Demonstrates knowledge and proper use of computer programs, particularly the HBOC system

Graduate of an AMA Accredited Educational Radiologic Technology Program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

One year clinical experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge of the nuclear medicine diagnostic, therapeutic and quality control procedures;

Knowledge of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission [NRC] regulations;

Analytical skills to be able to calculate accurate dosages;

Interpersonal skills to interact with patients and elicit patient’s corporation;

Effective written and oral communication skills;

Must possess and maintain certification as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), OR
