Provide damage assessments training to local officials and emergency management professionals.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):
Participates in conducting joint preliminary damage assessments with county officials and FEMA so as to determine eligibilty for Individual Assistance activation.
Serves as liaison with FEMA in the location of Disaster Recovery Centers in impacted and declared areas.
Serves as he Emergency Support Function Lead during the activation of the state Emergency Operations Center.
