Advances alternative project delivery and innovative finance activities of the department, including engagement in public private partnerships.

Eight (8) years of professional experience in operations and management would be a typical way to demonstrate these qualifications.

Any combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates these qualifications.

Oversight of the day-to-day operations of Street Division’s repair and maintenance crews (and/or engineering teams and asset management).

Compile and report information to executive management including service request status, project status or timeline, resource and budgetary needs among others.

Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences, including elected officials, various levels of City management, and members of the public.

General knowledge of right-of-way infrastructure repair and maintenance activities or other related construction-related activities.

Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

At least 3 years of experience in community engagement, built environment, and/or transportation infrastructure (can include volunteer or paid experience)

Experience with grant and/or program planning, implementation, and administration, especially in governmental or organizational settings

Skilled oral and written communicator who enjoys working with diverse people in ways that are respectful, empathetic, productive, collaborative, and consensus-building

Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

Experience: Five (5) years of technical or administrative experience performing standard research and evaluation, case management, and/or implementing work processes.

Monitor and schedule drivers for DOT physical renewals, and escalate any disqualifications to the CDL Program Manager for resolution.

Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of education may be substituted for each required year of experience.

Monitor CDL expiration dates and send renewal notifications to manager/drivers.

Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
