Dental Hygienist E11 Jobs in Maine

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.

Successful completion for National and State boards.

Current State of Maine Dental hygienist and Radiology Licensure.

Work is performed in an interior medical/clinical environment.

Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

Will work with blood or blood-borne pathogens and will require OSHA training.

What Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities are Required for this Position?

If you are relying on your education to meet qualification requirements:

Experience in performing oral prophylactic care and in providing oral health educational services to patients.

Experience exposing, processing, and mounting intraoral and extra oral x-rays, including bite wings, periapical, occlusal, and panoramic films.

Knowledge of oral hygiene, including infection control and preventive dental care.

Knowledge of pre and post-operative dental procedures.
