Duties include but are not limited to:

Salary: From $12.00 per hour

Assisting shelter manager or other staff with additional tasks as needed

Daily, thorough cleaning of all animal areas, including inside/outside runs, cat areas,

Spot cleaning of animal and public areas throughout the day.

Feeding the animals, including providing special diets as needed.

Providing dogs with routine walks and exercise as needed.

Monitoring the health of the animals on an ongoing basis and rapidly identifying any

Experience with or ability to learn safe handling techniques for aggressive animals.

Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.

Ability to perform general maintenance job duties.

Experience with general maintenance and janitorial duties.

Provide animals with enrichment opportunities.

Updates daily observation forms on all animals.
