Data Privacy Consultant Jobs

Candidates with the following skills and experience would be preferred:

• Knowledge and experience with enterprise cloud privacy risks.

• Experience in applying global privacy law to digital services.

• Support M&A activities related to privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance obligations.

• Advise on data protection terms in both revenue and procurement related contracts.

• Review privacy- and cybersecurity law-related blogs and sales materials.

ResponsibilitiesManaging a client load of 10-15 schools, serving as the primary point of contact regarding:

Federal/State/county/district data reporting requirements, deadlines, and processes

Researching and developing (where applicable) new processes, compliance reporting requirements, and technical solutions

Qualifications:A strong client-service orientation, responding efficiently and effectively to client requests

Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects while meeting customer expectations

Gather user community requirements and convey the same to Data Archiving technical team.

Using the source to destination mappings, test the source data against the requirements of the destination system.

Define the source to target high-level mappings for each category of data.

Test source and target system connections from the migration platform.

Prepare Data Migration User Acceptance Testing plan and work with users to get acceptance for go-live.

Candidates should have two years of experience (class of 2022), which includes handling privacy and cybersecurity matters.

Large law firm experience and a keen interest in privacy and data security is desired.

At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $215,000 to $250,000.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, particularly experience with communicating technical or regulatory language to a non-technical audience.
