Cyber Security Technical Professional Jobs

Proven experience with Security, operations, agile project management, and leadership philosophies

Assists with collection of intelligence, operations, and the communication of time sensitive security tactics for strategic executive management.

Maintains an open line of communication and partnership with Corporate/Operations Management throughout the region and nation

Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and managerial skills

1 or more years of analytical work experience

Identify opportunities to improve / add capabilities to the existing BB Program

Strong understanding of common network vulnerabilities, OS vulnerabilities (Linux, Windows and OSX), patching and attack patterns.

Intermediate understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities such as XSS, XSRF, SQL Injection, Cookie Manipulation among others.

Experience with Kali Linux via VirtualBox, BurpSuite, Splunk, Jira, Mac OS, Linux

Assess incoming Bug Bounty submissions and reproduce reports to confirm validity

Cultivate report metadata to ensure accuracy of metrics reporting

You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)

If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!

Experience in working with allied, coalition, or partner nations related to security cooperation efforts

Knowledge of security cooperation authorities, policies, processes, procedures, and resources

20+ years of experience working in a professional environment

Experience as a member of a U.S. Country Team aboard working on security cooperation matters

Experience with Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation policies, approaches, and processes as applied to security cooperation programs and activities

Experience with working in the Department of Defense or the State Department

Maintain knowledge currency of national-level cyber security research and development requirements.

Identify and articulate ORNL capabilities and customer requirements to internal and external technical audiences, leadership, and sponsors.

Demonstrated ability and willingness to acquire new knowledge and learn new skills, along with superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Promote ORNL/partners cyber security research and development capabilities as they apply to the national security community.

Support national security agendas as they relate to the protection of national energy assets and critical infrastructure.

Assist in the development of research proposals related to critical infrastructure protection and cyber-physical security.
