Cyber Security Instructor Jobs

Knowledge of various programming languages, such as C++, Python, and Java is a plus.

No prior working experience in the field of cybersecurity needed.

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field

Understanding of computer networking, including TCP/IP protocols and network infrastructure

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience

Conduct CPR instructor course based on American Heart Association requirements, and conduct Defensive Tactics

Plan and manage class schedules, enrollments, training spaces, materials and audio visual needs for training program.

Manage deadlines and resources, and work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Minimum of two (2) years of training/facilitation experience

Security experience and/or administrative experience

Associates degree in related field or approved alternate certification/training.

Current certifications in subjects taught

Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline

Information Technology Instructors must provide official transcripts of bachelor's (or higher) degree and active/current certification on the subject being taught.

Certifications we are looking for: CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CEH: EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker, Sec+: CompTIA Security+

At least three years’ experience in the respective field of Cyber, Network and Information Security OR two years of teaching experience

Three years of industry experience within the last five years, required

5. Instructional support staff hours are 7:45 am to 4:15 pm or as assigned.

8. Teachers/coordinators will not loan or borrow GPTC property without the Superintendent/CEO or his designee’s approval.

b) Teachers will record grades on a weekly basis in the district approved electronic grade book program.

g) Teacher will utilize the board-approved student accounting system for daily attendance.

h) Uniforms will be worn in designated training programs.

Develop an online course centered on your niche and expertise in cybersecurity.

Embody the ethical hacker mindset and uphold professional standards.

Proficiency in English for course creation and communication.

Ability to apply the First Principles technique for problem-solving and Feynman technique to simplify complex concepts.
