Overview The Curriculum Coordinator I is responsible for developing and coordinating curriculum for a specific program or department. This position works closely with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of the program or department. The Curriculum Coordinator I is also responsible for developing and implementing assessment plans and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum. Detailed Job Description The Curriculum Coordinator I is responsible for developing and coordinating curriculum for a specific program or department. This includes researching and analyzing current and emerging trends in the field, developing and implementing curriculum plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum. The Curriculum Coordinator I is also responsible for developing and implementing assessment plans and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum. The Curriculum Coordinator I will work closely with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of the program or department. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
• Ability to research and analyze current and emerging trends in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in curriculum development and assessment
• Experience in developing and implementing assessment plans
• Knowledge of current trends in curriculum development
