Cryo Plant Process Engineer Jobs

Experience with Lean Manufacturing Systems or Lean Certification preferred

Work closely with Production Managers to resolve ongoing production issues

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Continuous improvement, Kaizen, SPC, and TPM experience

Team environment and independent working experience

Assist in transition of new process developments

Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment or lab environment.

Working knowledge of statistical analysis.

Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and ABS.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Materials, Metallurgical, or Chemical.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants (Process Safety Management, EPA regulations, FDA regulations, state/local regulations)

Support/comply with all process safety management and risk management plan practices

Support, coordinate and manage operating permit reporting, monitoring and renewal requirements to ensure compliance with federal, state and local rules/regulations

Pick up responsibilities of operations/maintenance supervision during their absence. This requires a high level of process knowledge and accountability.

Provide candid constructive input to management decisions; actively support those decisions

Organized, effective at time management

Apply knowledge of functional area to conduct system and process analysis, identifies opportunities for improvement, and makes recommendations to management.

Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college degree level education or work-related experience

High school diploma or equivalent education required

Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum

Support development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety system.

Support Product Management, Supply Chain and Energy teams to implement operating strategies to optimize product sourcing.

Technical knowledge and experience with Cryogenic equipment, controls and processes preferred.

Interface effectively with Operations/GEMTE technical functions and Line and Site Managers

5-15 years experience in Engineering, Operations or related functions preferred.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost-effective solutions.

Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
