Perform all aspects of airway management, including fiberoptic intubation

Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities

Demonstrated competency in all clinical responsibilities included in the Job Duties for this position

Place and manage regional anesthetic techniques, as delineated by his or her clinical privileges or granted special privileges, and may include:

Insert and manage peripheral, arterial, pulmonary catheter, or central venous lines and catheters.

Provide patient and caregiver education

Five years or more of experience in a management role in a health care setting, preferred

Provides post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications Requirements:

Graduate form a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), required

Currently certified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists, required
