4+ years professional experience relevant to the Essential Job Duties (below) of this position.

Course work and/or professional experience must provide a broad and significant understanding of youth development, education and family and consumer sciences.

Experience and/or certifications in managing conflict, mediating outcomes, and facilitating group discussion/decision making.

Successful experience developing financial support for educational programs: grant writing, fund raising, contracting, or cost recovery.

Manage program funds in compliance with CSU and county fiscal policies and reporting requirements.

Experience in audience needs identification, program development, evaluating, and reporting results of programs.

Manage all campus tree and shrub projects including design and budget; make cost estimates of time and material.

Ensure the condition of all campus trees meet prudent safety considerations for facilities, pedestrians and vehicles.

Identify and diagnose diseases and insect infestation and apply proper treatment.
