Overview A Corrections Officer is responsible for the supervision, safety, and security of inmates in a correctional facility. They are responsible for ensuring that inmates follow the rules and regulations of the facility, and they are also responsible for providing assistance to inmates in need. Detailed Job Description A Corrections Officer is responsible for the supervision, safety, and security of inmates in a correctional facility. They are responsible for ensuring that inmates follow the rules and regulations of the facility, and they are also responsible for providing assistance to inmates in need. They must also be able to respond to emergency situations and provide medical assistance when necessary. Corrections Officers must also be able to maintain order in the facility, and they must be able to handle difficult inmates. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a correctional facility or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Knowledge of medical procedures
• Knowledge of legal procedures
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a correctional facility or related field
• Previous experience in law enforcement or security

• Supervise inmates and ensure that they follow the rules and regulations of the facility
