Assists other Correctional Officers with the management of inmates

Manages confrontational situations as they arise to maintain security

High school graduate or possess a GED certificate recognized by the Maryland State Board of Education

Reasons for disqualification may include (but are not limited to) the following

Must be able to wear a mask or face covering indoors for a minimum of 8 hours (during the pandemic protocol)

Provides care, custody, and control of inmates in a direct supervision environment
