Correction Staff Nurse Jobs in California

One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse, OR;

One (1) year of vocational nursing experience providing direct patient care in a correctional health care setting;

Demonstrate the practical and theoretical knowledge of nursing care specific to the assigned work area/specialty;

Collects, interpret, and documents data to determine whether incarcerated persons have physiological and/or psychosocial risk factors.

Records and reports assessment data and makes appropriate referrals.

Communicates and collaborates with physicians and allied health professionals in setting priorities for the care of patients.

One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse, OR;

Demonstrate the practical and theoretical knowledge of nursing care specific to the assigned work area/specialty;

New Hire Bonus: $6,000 Sign-on Bonus paid in four (4) installments.

New Hire Premium: +6% of the base rate of pay matched up to 6% if contributed to the Deferred Compensation Plan.

Shift Differentials: 10% of base pay for hours worked from 7:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

Pay Range: $77.93 - $100.06 /hour

Knowledge of DSM/ICD and basic medical and psychiatric terminology.

Knowledge of legal terminologies and practices associated with psychiatry
