Green belt certification or experience is a plus

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of direct experience

Adept and experienced in problem solving

Maintenance Experience or background preferred

You’ll review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities

Experience in developing continuous improvement activities in material management and SIOP (Sales Inventory Operating Planning) improvement activities

Implement process management/process improvement initiatives following Lean Six Sigma principles

Strong analytical skills and extensive experience in financial calculations of savings and return of the investment

Lean / Six Sigma Green belt certification required. Black Belt certification, preferred.

5+ years working experience in manufacturing applying Lean manufacturing and problem solving tools

Experience in operational performance evaluation (Efficiency/Utilization)

Manufacturing systems experience with knowledge of manufacturing best practices

Reviews all projects to ensure that action plans, timelines, budgets and requirements are met and/or exceeded.

Coordinates plant initiatives and ideas with each facility's President & C.O.O and Plant Managers.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

University or College degree in Engineering preferred or applicable/relevant experience equal to a degree

Provides direction and support during Lean Manufacturing Methods.

Prior manufacturing experience in management or quality.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Lean Certification and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Ability to collect raw and secondary data, to organize, analyze and draw relevant conclusions to inform senior management accordingly

Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on and managed at all times

Equips employees with the tools and knowledge to drive improvement throughout.

Must be able to manage and interact effectively with diverse groups and personalities.

Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Must have strong written and presentation skills.

Provides training/education to associates at all levels.
